Pastor Ken Shaver
Ken Shaver has dedicated over 23 years to ministry and education, shaping the lives of countless individuals through his various roles.
Ken currently serves as the Assistant Pastor at Falls Baptist Church and the Director of Student Life and Discipleship. His journey in ministry began with his education at Hopkinsville College of the Bible, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree, and Liberty University, where he pursued graduate-level coursework.
Ken’s professional career is marked by significant achievements and leadership roles. He founded and pastored Greater Cumberland Baptist Church from 2001 to 2019, where he developed and implemented programs that fostered community growth and spiritual development. Following this, he led Greater Vision Baptist Church as the pastor from 2019 to 2024, further honing his leadership and pastoral skills.
In addition to his pastoral work, Kenneth has extensive experience in air traffic control. He served as a Project Manager for the FAA, where he played a crucial role in developing and implementing the training program for the User Request Evaluation Tool (URET). This program significantly improved air traffic management by detecting and resolving potential conflicts early. Ken also held positions as an Instructor at the FAA Academy and Program Manager for International Air Traffic Training, where he developed training programs for countries worldwide.
Currently, as the Senior Presenter and Student Coordinator at The Nelson Center for Preaching and Church Planting, Ken continues to impact the next generation of church leaders. His commitment to education and ministry is evident in his dedication to developing comprehensive training and discipleship programs.
